Paul Shafer has bee a gift to our organization. His enthusiasm and love for the LGBTQ+ community shines through in his performance as an intern at Stonewall Alliance of Chico. I worked with Paul on our public relations and marketing and was impressed by his ability to research, seek more information, and to help share the stories and issues faced by our LGBTQ+ community as a resource for support and information via our social media channels. Paul also greatly helped in person at events as a volunteer, working merchandise, providing excellence in customer service and facilitating our Youth Group. It's wonderful to know that there are young people like him so active, helpful and interested in the world around them. Wishing him lots of love and success on his future endeavors! We'll miss him for sure.
