Paul and I have worked together at Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University in Beppu, Japan for 5 years. He has been my supervisor, and I have found him to be an efficient, fair and effective leader and mentor . He is extremely easy to work with and very personable and reliable. He encourages innovation and is open to new ideas. He has always presented himself in a and extraordinarily professional manner, and he emotes enthusiasm and displays deep and insightful knowledge of his fields of expertise. He is one of the hardest working teachers/supervisors I have ever encountered. His contributions to the curriculum development in our department have been substantial and unceasing. He works tirelessly for the benefit of his students and colleagues. Paul has my highest recommendation as a supervisor and colleague.
