Paul is enthusiastic, intelligent, ambitious, and capable. He worked as the head of our service desk for some time, and we supplanted his work by asking him to do some Linux tasks. I could gave him a job and simply say, "Run with it. Come to us for any help you need," and that's what he did. He demonstrated that he was a self-starter and was interested in accomplishing any task with excellence and without complaint- from cleaning up our supply room to writing shell scripts (which he learned on his own; he is a voracious learner). I highly recommend Paul, and would hire him again in a heartbeat.

It is a pleasure to write a recommendation for Paul Schipitsch. Paul was a student in a calculus class I taught at Roosevelt University. I've taught Calculus to roughly 1,000 students and Paul is one of the top 5 students I've had the privilege to teach. Where do I begin? His approach is thorough, his communication is no-nonsense. In this particular class many optional opportunities were offered for students to learn outside of class. He took advantage of the extra resources more than all the other students. He did so well in the class that he did not need to take the final to get an A (only student in the class that applied to). While his grade was impressive, what is more useful about Paul is his no-nonsense take-no-prisoners attitude toward learning, and an unceasing focus at "getting to the bottom" of the idea. While many of his peers were content to "just get by", Paul on multiple occasions after getting a perfect score on an assignment would say "I got it right, but I don't really understand it - can you help?" And on top of that, he has the rare ability of doing all that while being respected by his peers and sought for advice. And he never sought attention or thanks for this help, remaining deeply humble throughout. His attitude and approach were refreshing in the classroom, and more importantly position him well to outperform his peers outside of it. I identify Paul as the most likely student to succeed from the class. It's a pleasure to write a recommendation for Paul. I recommend him without reservation. Treat him well, and you won't be disappointed.
