  I currently work as a business coach within high schools around England, and oversee enterprise event days. Responsibilities for this include managing the students, to ensure that all students successfully gain basic skills in finance, marketing and product design and development. Moreover, some other events instead focus on creating social action plans to benefit specific vulnerable citizen groups within the local community. During these events, I liaise with both Greater Manchester Police and the students to determine relevant issues and how we can help solve these problems. Time management, communication and leadership skills have been significantly developed with this job role.

  I undertook a month long placement in the English department at Hartford High School. This job mainly focused upon independently creating lesson plans and delivering these to pupils across all ages and abilities. I was also able to teach pupils in a one-on-one situation, which was both challenging and rewarding. I expanded upon a number of skills throughout this placement, including effective communication, time management, leadership and decision making.
