Paul Rookwood was an amazing Managing Principal with WRT and really had the combined skills of top leadership skills, personable qualities and the ability to see the large picture without getting bogged down in details. Paul understands people and their inner strengths and knows when to invest in them. On a personable note, I had a dire situation as a single person branch office. While I was 1300 miles removed from Philadelphia headquarters in Dallas. Paul had enough foresight and faith in me, (despite poor returns) to allow me to sustain my tiny branch office. As a result of his proactive foresight and tenacity, I had the confidence to go after the massive Trinity River project in Dallas, in what will be the largest urban park in the US at 10,000 acres within the city limits. This 3 million dollar win helped WRT to get to another level. While it was the combination of Ignacio Bunster and I in preparation of the proposal and interview that was credited,. It never would have happened at all had it not been for Paul's bold confidence and support in the first place.
