I provided strategic leadership for the Age England Association. AEA members are 250+ independent charities in the Age UK network - combined annual income over £200m. I led projects that supported senior staff and trustees in the Age UK network by providing opportunities for collaboration and learning and development. I am working on: risks facing our network; digital strategy; quality standards; brand consistency; and income generation. I act as Company Secretary for the Age England Association and lead on governance issues.I am researching how to maximise the benefits of federal charity structures i.e. how independent local charities and a national office can work together for mutual benefit.
