      The Consortium of lesbian, gay, bisexual & trans + Voluntary and Community Organisations is a national infrastructure charity working to support the LGBT+ sector. The charity aims to be a national voice for the sector and to move with the sector to ensure that LGBT+ issues are high on the agenda. Consortium networks our Membership of 550 LGBT+ VCOs across the United Kingdom together and is working drive forward sector development. Consortium also acts as a grant giver, having distributed over £1.5m in grants over the last few years, with more to follow.

      Started at Intercom back in April 2003 fresh out of university. Began as the Equal Opps Training Officer developing LGB&T training services across Devon & Cornwall before moving into the development of infrastructure services for LGB&T organisations in the South West peninsula. Became the Deputy Director in 2006 working alongside the Executive Director on the strategic development of the organisation, securing new longer term funding for the organisation through to 2011.
