I lecture in financial strategy at Masters in Accounting level, financial management at honours business degree level, & management accounting to honours accounting degree students. I also teach the Integrated Accounting Systems course to accounting technician students, and tas books accounting sofware to business students. My research interest (M.Comm. by research post-accounting qualification & publication in Irish Accounting Review and trade accounting journals is in the behavioural aspects of management accounting (Dysfunctional forecasting, inappropriate budgets, dysfunctional behaviour by managers to meet -possibly inappropriate- targets etc.) My qualifications are B.Comm. (hons) and M.Comm. (hons) from NUI Galway, and Chartered Institute of Management Accounting exams, ACMA (Was FCMA but gave up paying extra for the 'Fellowship).
