He has a clear vision for the divisions under his direction and truly understands the value of good people. General Manager - Spine
-
2015 - Jun 2020
I am a people focused sales and marketing leader, adapt in building teams and managing end to end P&Ls.Reporting directly to the CEO, I am responsible for daily field sales activities, sales growth and professional development of the sales and marketing teams as well as full P&L responsibility to an EBITDA level.Since taking on the GM Spine role in 2015, I have grown the business by 90% over this 5 year period and in most years, exceeded revenue and EBITDA growth expectations as well developing long-term sustainable results. This long-term sales track record was the driving force behind Stryker’s SSP unprecedented move to choose LHC as its exclusive sales partner in the spine category. My philosophy is simple, I believe in there are 3 key pillars that make a successful sales and marketing division, firstly it is people: Building a team from approx. 20 across ANZ to over 50 today, I find good people, develop them well and hold everyone to the same high standard.Second is product. Assisting to source and manage over 20 domestic and international suppliers, I pride myself in working with my sales and marketing teams and along-side and our customers to bring the best products to market. Finally, it’s professional education, both internal and external. Working with key opinion leaders and leveraging our strong supplier partnerships, delivering world class clinical education and events.
