  Coordinating with Outsourced IT Department (Cloud1 IT based in Mountain View) I was recruited to extend the Company’s “Follow the Sun” approach to internal support. I deployed and supported all aspects of IT locally (10+ Employees). This included onboarding and deployment, day to day support both remotely and within the UK Offices to proactively avoid, identify or resolve problems. Main products supported were Windows Server and Desktops, and Office 365. Company had a bias to MAC Hardware so I therefore deployed MacBook’s running Bootcamp. Major Achievements: Deployment of Skype VOIP System for our Indian Call Centre. Doug Rich was instrumental in recruiting me as I had already provided a very similar roll at Tintri. Show less

  Coordinating with Corporate IT (California) I deployed and supported all aspects of IT locally (35+ Employees). This included onboarding and deployment, day to day support both remotely and within the UK Offices to proactively avoid, identify or resolve problems. Main products supported were Windows Server and Desktops, and Intermedia’s Hosted Exchange platform. Day to day management of Conference and Meeting Rooms. The setup of Trade shows and Sales Conferences with regards to AV and presentation devices. Major Achievements: 2 x Office Moves (1st from Serviced Offices in Reading to the City and the 2nd from these Offices to our own in Fenchurch Street, London. These projects involved the liaison with various Comms Companies and Service providers to deploy the likes of Fibre Leased lines, Air Con, Racks and a Ruckus based Meshed Network, whilst at the same time minimising disruption to internal clients.
