  At NMC my task included assisting the technicians at the Maintenance department whose central role involved diagnostics, repair and routine maintenance of the Milling, Turning, and Lathe machines at the main Workshop at the premises. Additionally, I was exposed to the routine maintenance practices of the machinery at the foundry section of the same establishment. before the end of my time there, I also got an opportunity to work at the design office where draughtsmen made all part designs for fabrication or manufacture using AutoCAD software.

During my time there I was also able to identify aspects of mechatronic engineering in the development of Subaru vehicles with the use of load sensors, hydraulic and oil level sensors, rotational speed sensors and control units for the pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
