  The Building Safety Group Ltd was established in 1963 and has developed to become the largest specialist construction safety group of its type in the country.The Building Safety Group Ltd (BSG) is run by its members for the benefit of its members providing a not for profit comprehensive service in all aspects of construction health and safety to over 750 member companies in 3500 workplaces throughout the country. A network of 35 Health and Safety Advisers, who are locally based, deliver our services in their local areas and visit construction sites on a 15 working day rota. All of The Building Safety Group’s Safety Advisers hold the NEBOSH General Certificate and the NEBOSH Construction Certificate. Each area is managed locally by a Principal Safety Adviser.Accredited with Investors in People, BSG remains firm in its commitment to providing a quality service through the development of its high quality staff both in the field and at our head office, a fact witnessed by our recent achievement of BS EN ISO 9001 : 2008 Quality Management System, BS EN ISO 14001 : 2004 Environmental Management System, OHSAS 18001 : 2007 Occupational Health & Safety. Within our team we have a number of advisers who have specialist knowledge and expertise in a variety of construction based subjects ranging from scaffold to asbestos and CDM, all of which is available to all of our members via either direct contact or our advice line.BSG maintains its own training department providing a full range of construction based health and safety courses throughout the country. We are an approved provider of the CITB Site Safety Plus family of courses. Many of our courses are approved by the CITB for grant aid purposes.
