      I was in charge of all vehicles that belong to the group. From when they are delivered from the manufacture (Ford, Volvo & Equi-Trek), traded in by a customer or bought in at an auction. Until they drive back out with a new happy customer. I made sure that the vehicles get into presentable condition as soon as possibly ready to be viewed and sold. While in our possession I make sure they stay in presentable in condition in our two showrooms & two forecourts in Naas & Newbridge Co. Kildare. I was the link between our sales & service departments. I also link up with out external contractors for Sign writing, Bodywork, Valeting, Window tinting, Wheels & Tyres to names some.

      An exciting six month contract to help launch "Nielsen's Chemicals" into the Irish market. I was uniquely placed to be "headhunted" for this role by Nielsens Chemicals business manager Glen Paston. Glen interviewed me for my sales position in Auto Glym Ireland many years ago. We built up a strong friendship that survived even with Glen's departure form the Auto Glym group. When Glen became "Business Manager" for Nielsen's Chemicals one, of his remittances was to increase the market share in many territory's. With my many years experience in the same industry I was one of his forts calls. My role was to introduce Nielsens Chemicals into a customer base that I was familiar with. (from my time and training with Auto Glym) To demonstrate the products, explain their cost effectiveness, and provide a knowledgeable friendly service.
