He was always striving for better, he kept our Unit ship shape as the Executive Officer & Platoon Leader, and as XO, I reported directly to him all of my logistical concerns regarding the running of my Supply Room, for Alpha Company, 2-27 Infantry Wolfhounds. He made things happen even when they looked impossible. Under his supervision our Unit excelled in deployment missions, in Honduras & Panama, never taking the easy way, 1LT Hoben was always leading the way, as good Officers always do...Working with this man for 3 years, was truly an inspiration to me and an Honor... Truly a great man!
