Paul goes down (with no sucking up but total honesty) as one the best line managers I've ever had the privildege to work with. He is passionate, fair, hard working himself, honest, diligent, ethical, supports you properly, understands the real world and protects you from Ivory Tower madness if applicable while training and coaching good practice. He's flexible, inspirational, motivating and what every Manager should aspire to be like in any profession and as a direct result, highly succesful. No surprise there then.

I joined Prudential Corporate Pensions in July 1990 to develop new DB, DC and Segregated business with EBCs and Consulting Actuaries in the North West of England. This involved relaying the proposition which Prudential could make available to large pension schemes (circa 100+ members) typically via initial proposal submission and then beauty parade. Upon appointment the requirement would be to work with both adviser and client to plan implementation, member communication and ongoing contact strategy. During this time I was also responsible for the B2B relationship with HSBC Actuarial Consultants (formerly Antony Gibbs) and Bacon & Woodrow.
