Feb 2016 – Jul 2017 Director of Retail Operations DEBRA, Crowthorne • Head of managing the charity shops operations and strategic business issues (responsible for 120 stores nationally). • Introduced extra trading hours by opening Sundays which generated significantly increased revenue from £6,000 to £20,000 revenue per week. • Completed change management projects, focussing on procurement and business refinement involving closing stores, changing failing stores in to discount units and securing new premises. • Continued to lead and manage the retail arm of the charity to successfully achieve our annual budgets. • Built a retail structure which encouraged teams to flourish and drives sales focus whilst managing a cost effective payroll. • Opened several donation centres and promoted inclusive working and ensured volunteers felt valued. • Helped organised the annual large staff conference for several hundred employees. • Supported Chief Operating Officer with any operational functions when needed.
