After doing part time/project based work using the LAMP stack, I joined Qudero for my first "serious" job, as I also decided to focus on Microsoft .NET development. I joined a ~10 persons team in developing the next version of a hospital quality management system. It was a challenging experience as this was my first contact with a system that was in development for years, as opposed to the one-off projects I have previously worked on. While I learned a lot about developing sustainably and about working in a team, I realized that LAMP was a much better framework for me to work on and I've been focusing on open source software ever since.
