Co-wrote new ant build scripts for the group that integrate IBM Web Services, Axis Web Services, XML Beans, Flex and Clover into the build process. In addition I wrote various Ruby programs to automate the build and labeling processes. Tasks included writing Web Applications, reusable data access components to SOAP and XML/HTTP services, working with Workflow Systems and various other roles. . The environment was an MVC compliant one using with Struts and JSP/Tiles running on various flavors of WebSphere 5.1. The data came from various database (Oracle, Sybase) and Web Services (SOAP using Axis and XML/HTTP using Castor) . Wrote a tag library that retrieves content from different data sources and displays the appropriate text on the front end. .
