I have known Paul for over 25 years in a variety of positions, through this time Paul has shown great management and leadership skills. As a manager he shows empathy, great people skills whilst being engaging to his peers and colleagues. He has a great wealth of knowledge in numerous disciplines such as quality assurance, hospitality and facilities management. Paul has worked in facilities management for a number of years, where he worked in the delivery and the supervision of a number of soft and hard facilities management services. This included food services, security of building and equipment, cleaning, laundry, large and small equipment maintenance and also building maintenance both indoors and outdoors. Paul has a good understanding of the regulations and legislation associated with estate management having undertaken continuous professional development throughout his career to become qualified within these areas. Never afraid of hard work Paul is a lateral and reflectional thinker, understanding the bigger impact and wider issues of any decisions made. Paul has great respect for leadership and management and understands the complexities of operating in a business environment. He understands the importance of safety at all times when working with contractors, staff and customers. Paul has been responsible for equipment in excess of a million pounds. Paul is a fantastic team player but can also work alone when required, he understands the complexity of managing a team whether large or small and is able to do this with an abundance of skills and knowledge showing the traits of an exceptional leader and manager. Paul is an effective time manager who is able to ensure all his tasks are completed in a timely manner and to the required standard and where required undertakes additional work to ensure that the best service is provided to his customers.
