I took the opportunity to return to Fibre Broadband and learn how Gigaclear was tackling the challenge of delivering Gig speed services, in the rural environment.At the point of my arrival the Delivery Manager role was loosely defined, so I have applied myself in whichever area of network delivery requiring attention. This has resulted in me working closely with both the Wayleave and Design depts to create workable and cost-effective solutions.I have been able to grow and maintain an excellent working relationship with both the Civil and Fibre engineering firms contracted to undertake the installation of Gigaclears Network. I continue to enjoy meetings with local Landowners, Communities and Authorities, where I’m able to support my colleagues when confronted with technical and logistical queries.The Gigaclear Delivery Manager role marks my most challenging and rewarding position yet. FWA Delivery Manager (Fixed Wireless Access)

As FWA Delivery Manager I’m helping Optimity make the step-change in becoming a leading ISP across central London and more recently in the expansion of the network to the underserved outskirts of the Capital.• My role is to design and manage the physical deployment of all network solutions across Optimity’s LDN+ Network.• Constant monitoring of the London skyscape, keeping an eye on new building developments which may create LOS obstructions to the network. If such a development is recognised, I quickly ascertain the degree of risk and implement solutions to avoid network disruption.• Registering all licensed radios links with Ofcom, detailing exact geographic locations, bearings, altitudes and frequencies.• Currently working with senior network engineers, utilising GIS software to design and plan the expansion of Optimity’s network across London and beyond.• Creating and maintaining detailed survey and asbuilt documentation. Keeping budgets and time scales in check by successfully working with clients, landlords and 3rd party companies to ensure a fast and reliable Optimity service.Additionally to Project Management, my past experience in the field is often called upon to survey, plan and scope more complex antenna installations where standard installation techniques and construction materials aren’t sufficient.
