Humpty Dumpty was born through the support of the tennis players at Love 'n Deuce when we initially gathered in 1990 to support the children’s ward at Royal North Shore Hospital. This humble beginning inspired us to help more kids and today Humpty is a registered charity with DGR1 status supporting a growing list of hospitals all over Australia. The wonderful irony is that my twin daughters, who were born six weeks premature at Royal North Shore Hospital, required humidicribs and breathing apparatus to help them adjust to their new surroundings. These pieces of equipment had Humpty Dumpty Foundation stickers all over them! Our two main annual fundraising events are the Balmoral Burn (May) and the Great Humpty Ball (Nov) Humpty now supplies children's medical equipment to over 400 hospitals around Australia. My role at Humpty… My day-to-day sees me supporting my committed team at Humpty and talking to our wonderful supporters. I also spend my days sharing my other passion of Tennis at the Love’n Deuce Tennis Centre.
