Respiratory and then Cardiovascular Hospital Specialists Sales. My efforts as a GP rep were recognised and rewarded with promotion to the role of Respiratory Hospital Representative. Here I continued to develop my skills, particularly business relationship management and key group sales skills. Over the years this gave me the opportunity to be involved in developing the skills and product knowledge of many new representatives from, predominantly, within the NSW team but also the chance to address and present to sales training inductees and at national conferences. On moving to the Cardiovascular team in 2006 I became part of a larger and vastly more experienced team and quickly became a Senior Representative myself. Being responsible for multiple products and half of the state was a great responsibility and a challenge that made this role very fulfilling.
