  Since joining P A Collacott & Co I have completed the Contract Supervision of various projects.Our works are varied across all sectors of commercial and industrial electrical contracting. My role involves the initial liaising with the client whether that is a direct institution such as University, private company or a principal building contractor.The procurement system also varies and I have been involved in both the fully designed projects where we work under the control of a project design team via a building company and the design and build route in which we offer a full electrical design package from inception to completion. We also partner closely with mechanical services companies in order to offer a full project design solution.The financial control of my projects is solely my responsibility and I carry out all of the procurement, labour resourcing along with the appointment, vetting and management of specialist sub-contract companies we need to engage in order to complete all elements of our works.I am personally involved in the initial post tender negotiations and once our order is secured I develop the project programme and manage our works until completion and settlement of the final contract account.
