Responsible for the support and development of the existing OpenInsight/Arev systems, leading a team of OpenInsight developers and conducted systems analysis, producing technical specifications for the development team to follow.As the Lead Developer, I was also called upon to mentor and offer technical advice and training to the Development Team and give regular progress reports to the IT Manager. During this period, the company's client web portal, written in PHP, HTML, CSS, and Javascript. I took responsibility for developing and maintaining this website. I also wrote the HTTP REST API for updating/querying the company's vTiger CRM database from the in-house Admin (OpenInsight) system. The central part of this API was in understanding the relational aspects of the vTiger architecture and subsequently writing the PHP scripts to identify and update the relevant areas in vTiger.

During a short spell of secondment to Abbey National's WinSIPP base in Salisbury for 6 months, Paul made his mark by identifying the cause of a long standing problem with the OpenInsight WinSIPP database.
