The variations were managed for their entire lifecycle including scoping, costing, planning, implementation and hand-over. Managed teams ranging in size from 2 to 40 engineers. Projects included:Hammersmith & City Line - Platform extension work – a project to extend platforms to accommodate the upgrade of trains from 6 to 7 cars. Worked to two contract types, fixed price and time & materialsBlackfriars Station - Part of the project team in the demolition and rebuild of the station – lead on a project to decommission and then re-install London Underground Connect services.Airwave network upgrades - Project to upgrade British Transport Police airwave hubs at six sites in preparation to the 2012 Olympics in East London. AchievementBattery refresh – bought in to take over a project to change batteries in comms cabinets in 375 sites across the underground network. Reviewed the project and streamlined working practices that resulted in a saving of £1.5 million. Delivered on time and under budget.

In conjunction, also worked on a project to manage the splicing works for the new system installation on the Central, Jubilee and Northern lines.
