  Opening and managing one of the first ‘boutique’ hotels in the country. The Victoria at Holkham was a 14 bedroom property and popular tourist destination on the Holkham Estate, North Norfolk. It had an annual turnover of 1.8 million with 1.3 million of that in F&B revenue. Some of my key achievements included; • Responsible for all day to day operations including recruitment, health and safety, budgets and staff training • Voted 20th ‘coolest hotel’ in the world in Conde Naste traveller 2005 • Successfully achieved 2nd rosette for food in 2005 • Streamlined staff cost from 35% to 29% from 2004 onwards • Oversaw acquisition & development of second public house, The Globe Inn with 12 bedrooms and 90 cover restaurant Show less
