- Monitor all on-going commercial building projects on a weekly basis to ascertain the readiness of the roof for installation, including photographic documentation. Attend all job meetings with owners, developers and other trades. Coordinate with the Project Manager for scheduling delivery of materials. - Prior to installation, order all relevant equipment, such as sky track, blocking, stair tower, and portable bathroom facilities. - Supervise the installation of thousands of squares of Firestone, Carlisle, and Sarnafil TPO roof systems from start to finish for both new construction and re-roofing projects ensuring plans and specifications are satisfied. - Conduct commercial and residential roof inspections covering the entirety of the roofing process from inception to final inspection. Inspections ensure each roof adheres to all GAF specifications before warranties are issued to the client. Inspection items include ensuring decking, ice and water shields, flashings covering all protrusions and where roofing materials meet the main structure of the building, primary roofing materials, eaves and gabbles, valley and ventilations are all suitable and installed properly. - Compile and submit detailed reports of every inspection are submitted after the conclusion of each inspection including photographic documentation that all GAF specifications have been satisfied along with any pertinent notes, which are then submitted to corporate headquarters for processing. - The only GAF representative covering a territory from MA to SC, taking special care to coordinate roof inspections with a variety of contract companies, as well as property owners, while ensuring inspections are done in a timely, efficient manner. - Coordinate travel logistics while keeping in line with corporate guidelines, paying special attention to create detailed expense reports which are submitted on a weekly basis. It is also essential to ensure vehicle maintenance and constantly coordinate with the fleet management company.
