  I started as weekend overnights on CHR/Mainstream 99.7 KKCK, board op for Rick Dees Weekly Top 40, and host of the Sunday Night Shag (alternative music program). In less than a year I was promoted to weekday overnights and Saturday Night Hip Hop Show Host, then to Morning Show Co-Host, along with complete responsibility for all station imaging for KKCK. In 2002 I relaunched Classic Hits KARZ-FM and co-hosted the midday show on it in addition to my KKCK duties.
