  I was an officer in Durham Constabulary working in all parts of the County predominantly as a Detective. I also was attached to the Force Drug Squad, Organised Crime Team and Regional Crime Squad. I investigated all types of crime during this period and trained future Detectives. I transferred to the National Crime Squad in 2005 and then to Home Office law enforcement agency in 2006.
