 Oversee all New Homes Residential Rooftop and Light Commercial Rooftop Solar Design and make sure that it complies with Authority Handling Jurisdiction (AHJ) requirements per City in US, National Electrical Code requirements, Electric Utility requirements and International Codes (Building Code/Residential Code/Fire Code) requirements. - Responsible on reviewing all Permit Packages (Master Plan Permit and Individaul Permit) to make sure that all necessary requirements are applied prior final review and signing of Professional Engineer in US. - Responsible on escalating to the team all updates/changes on design requirements or templates, which were communicated by the Stake Holders. Provide trainings as possible for better understanding of the updates. - Responsible for updating the Authority Handling Jurisdiction (AHJ) Database. An excel tool that serves as a reference on all the requirements of AHJ per City in US. All Design Engineers refer to this file prior creating the design.  Handles all Special Projects on New Homes Residential and Light Commercial Rooftop Design for process improvement. Projects that would contribute on cycle time reduction and accuracy of designs submitted. - Responsible on any modification/update of PV Home (An add-on software integrated in Autocad to automatically generates all sheets required for Permit Package. This software is used for New Homes and Existing Home Rooftop Solar Design). - Responsible on any modification/update of PV Calculator (An Excel tool that automatically calculates all electrical parameters based on NEC requirements.
