Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Troubleshoot equipment, process and material issues to minimize manufacturing down time. Develop and modify tooling, fixtures and equipment for New Product Introduction. Make improvements to manufacturing methods and procedures to ensure efficient production. Complete time studies to identify areas for process improvements. Perform root cause analysis, conduct tests, gather data, and write reports. Provide training for new products, tooling, equipment and processes. Undertake and support Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement activities. Support R&D with prototyping and other short lead time activities. Ensure product quality through Statistical Process Control. Install and commission new equipment and processes in production. Undertake activities to improve output and reduce machine cycle times. Maintain PFMEA, PCP, KPI, PFC etc documentation to company standards. Show less
