The new system will be connected to the ERP in place with live updating features. This significantly reduced the material handling time associated with searching for dies. Conducted time studies in the Copper Tubing, Copper Coils, and Aluminum Coils fabrication departments. Analyzed time study data for useful production trends to aid the Capacity Planning team. The time study data was updated on the Mapics (ERP), specifically cycle time and machine routings used for interior scheduling and creating capacity models. Helped team in their capacity models of different departments and in the transition schedule for moving the factories in Tennessee and Houston to the new facility in Waller, Texas.
