  Strategic Planning, Distribution Logistics, Brand Development. Since incorporating in Dec 2012, my duties took a dramatic shift out of the kitchen and into the areas of strategic business planning and development of our guacamole brand known as "Guac-a-mania", due in stores by mid-June 2013. I've gained first-hand experience this year in international business, as we are now involved in sourcing and manufacturing our product in Mexico as well as developing a package design and related advertising tools/strategies with our lead designer in Argentina. I've acquired direct experience in the areas of freight consolidation and logistics as well this year, and am continuing to learn more (every day!) about sourcing, distribution methods and wholesale food industry protocol.10/15/13 Update: Currently 8 weeks into launching our product, Guac-A-Mania, in Raley's, Bel-Air, and Nob Hill Foods in CA and NV. Our biggest milestone is that we started out a DSD item in 1 store and "graduated" in 2013 to a DC item, now in over 50 stores. Concentration on brand development, sales, and direct interface with consumers. My primary focus at this point is on marketing & promotion strategy, which in part entails recruitment skills, team building, and supervision of contractors. I perform our company's day-to-day HR and basic accounting duties and I've been working on promotional strategies through online/social media, which has included learning HTML in order to code our company's website (coming Oct 2013). New product development is ongoing too, so development & implementation of additional products is currently underway.
