I will work with feature development for the 3GSim simulator. The simulator is written in C++ and basically simulates the world around an Ericsson Radio Network Controller (RNC).

I improved an existing tool for integration testing program groups in the Ericsson Base Station Controller (BSC) unit. This is all 2G technology. The test tool itself was written in Java and C++. I also developed an internal website in my spare time, using Django, JQuery, South and Dajaxice to get the job done.

Systems developer in applications and services for the telecommunications sector. Works as a consultant with internal and external projects. So far, I have worked in a project where a customer wanted to integrate an IP and SCTP stack from different vendors into the ENEA operating system, OSE. Also, I worked in a project where we developed a connection manager for serial cables as an extension to an ENEA product, LINX. I have also worked at two undisclosed projects at Enea, aside for all the consulting gigs that are listed separately. Show less

    • Systems Engineer (Transfer)
      • Sep 2009 - Sep 2009

In September 2009 we transferred SHM at Ericsson to Ericsson Hungary. I spent a month in Budapest while working with this transfer. It was quite challenging to transfer a product portfolio of SHM's size, but I think it worked out well in the end. Budapest is a lovely city, by the way. • Jun 2002 - Aug 2002

I worked at the Munksund paper manufacturing plant as machine operator on a three-shift system. The work involved running the machines at the dry end of the plant, especially the paper winder machine. I worked during the summers of 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005. The work was pretty repetitive, and sometimes very stressful when the machines were malfunctioning. The fantastic staff did much to relieve the boredom, especially with 'gurka' card games and all-out war with the high pressure fire hoses!
