Patrick is one of the most knowledgeable Information Technology people that I have ever met in my life. What is even more remarkable is the amount of experience and expertise that he possesses at such a young age. His ability to engineer and develop solutions to any problem or challenge that may arise is unmatched by most in his field. During my time working with him on the Help Desk (and later when he moved to IT Data Security), Patrick was extremely helpful in helping me grow as an IT professional, and always took the time to explain a system or process that any IT or non-IT professional may not have been familiar with or unaware of. Pat's strong development, networking, and security skills make him an absolutely indispensable employee for any firm that he may work for. I would jump at the chance to be his colleague again in the future.

I have worked with Patrick for a couple of years. Patrick is a great person to work with. He has a great work ethic, is self-motivated, and an innovator. He is always looking for ways to automate processes and make the day to day tasks easier. He has a wide array of knowledge ranging from programming skills to networking skills. He would be a great asset to any organization. On a personal level he is a team player, easy going and very easy to get along with, and has a great sense of humor.

    • VP of Engineering
      • Jan 2020 - Present

Early in 2020, in addition to the objectives I already had as VP of Engineering, I had to quickly figure out what it meant for teams to be full-time remote. The ops team I had built out was half NYC based and half remote already and they were gelled nicely. Fortunately, since the company had always been remote friendly, it already had a lot of the tools necessary to enable a productive fully remote work force. From 2020 onwards, the ops team that was half NYC based became even more productive since we didn't have to worry about booking conference rooms when we wanted to talk and some of us gained up to 3 hours a day of productivity due to not having a commute. We were able to ship several lagging framework updates rapidly and with minimal impact to customer experience. It was incredible. Following that, we had to overcome challenges having to do with the end of trusted office IPs, time zones and availability, and maintaining velocity. Now that we are largely full time remote, it's back to focusing on shipping features, testing everything, and empowering engineers to get stuff done while developing skills to advance their careers.
