Supply chain teams can create, customize, and share analytics projects on our secure platform. Easily calculate safety stocks, reorder points, and optimal order quantities using a variety of algorithms. As the CEO, I constructed a vision for Gears Analytics by identifying pain points through personal experience and customer discovery interviews. I translated that vision into a product roadmap and recruited a team to make it a reality. I built out the details of the business model, estimated the size of the market, and created a three statement financial proforma to assess funding needs and establish milestones. Many of the features of the Gears Analytics platform I've developed personally. I've made over 700 source code contributions and written thousands of lines of code in Python, JavaScript, SQL, and PowerShell. The core of our product is a React frontend paired with a Django backend API. I migrated our product from AWS to the Azure Cloud, making use of services including Azure Synapse Analytics, Function Apps, Azure App Services, Key Vaults, Azure Active Directory, and more. Implemented lean manufacturing strategies and process improvements for multiple product lines within a $300M engineered fire suppression system business, helping the site earn ACE Silver certification. Designed and constructed a state-of-the-art computer controlled inert gas cylinder filling work cell, resulting in a 20% increase in daily output with no increase in labor required. Transitioned a 3,500 square foot production line for water mist suppression systems from Swainsboro, GA to Ashland, MA. Worked directly with direct labor employees to troubleshoot manufacturing problems, understand employee concerns, and interpret blueprints. Wrote clear and complete standard work instructions and trained employees on equipment usage and manufacturing procedures. Performed "Relentless Root Cause Analysis" (RRCA) on production and quality problems to identify the source of defects, then proposed mistake-proof process solutions and design change recommendations. As a member of new product development teams, provided feedback regarding manufacturability, anticipated labor cost, capital equipment requirements, and other process considerations. Show less

Lebanon, New Hampshire Developed test criteria for carburized bearing rings by correlating mid-process carburization measurements with final microhardness results. This testing allowed quality issues to be identified earlier in the production process, reducing scrap costs and freeing up capacity of highly utilized heat treatement ovens.

Ashland, Massachusetts Completed a project to linked together product design requirements for the MLIC fire suppression system control panel using IBM DOORS. As a result, the engineering team was able to easily verify that the control panel, its subassemblies, and its component parts complied with fire codes and standards published by the NFPA, Underwriter Laboratories, and Factory Mutual, reducing the risk of noncompliance issues and contributing to a successful product launch.
