(pre-COVID)-Manage four Sports Directors and seven Sports Coordinators that run day-to-day operations at our 12 branch locations as well as 150+ part time staff and independent contractors and 650+ volunteers. (pre-COVID)-Act as sports program expert and leads the development of association-wide sports program operating plans.-Develops and implements data collection efforts, including participant, staff and volunteer evaluation. Uses data and research to establish and implement plans for the quality growth and development of sports programs and services, in harmony with overall YMCA strategy plan.-Develops sports program budget recommendations and supports program area to ensure goals are achieved.-Ensures compliance with sports program-specific regulations/standards are met, including quality standards, safety and risk management policies and procedures.-Works collaboratively with association and branch teams to coordinate annual training plan, marketing efforts, collect impact stories and assists in purchasing of equipment.-Actively participates and leads department meetings and training for sports.-Currently serve on Christian Leadership Conference, Employee Resource Group and Invincible Y-Culture + Talent Management committees.-Currently serve as a Moderator for the Sports community on Y-LINK.
