I worked with Patrick for >3 years, and I was his direct manager for about 1.5 to 2 years. Patrick is a hard working, personable, and creative Product Manager. He successfully managed multiple ML-based cybersecurity products, and he spearheaded the design and creation of a new internal threat detection product (fullstack app + big data backend + ML). This was very successful in detecting new threats, saving analysts' time, and reducing false positives. Along with having exceptional product management skills, communication skills, and stakeholder engagement skills, Patrick has deep technical knowledge and experience in several complementary areas including: machine learning, threat detection & response, insider threat detection, UI/UX, AWS, and agile delivery. I would highly recommend Patrick for a Senior/Lead Product Manager role and would definitely work with him again!

Patrick was Product Manager for our custom internally built insider threat platform for over two years. His leadership and direction for our program and this product was exceptional. Under him the tool went from one basic rules based use case to an actual UEBA tool that risk scored technical and behavioral indicators, ingested and aggregated dozens of data sources, alerted on over 100 threat patterns and applied over 50 ML/statistical anomaly detectors to identify insider risk. He was always customer focused, providing exceptional support, thinking ahead, identifying and anticipating the teams needs, incorporating feedback, and overall providing the best customer experience I have had. We miss him daily!

The UEBA platform detected internal and external cyber security threats at Capital One using Big Data and targeted Machine Learning models.I engaged directly with business stakeholders, end users (cyber analysts) and engineers, leading product design and requirement gathering. I owned the roadmap and I worked directly with the development teams, creating and refining stories (technical and user) Show less

Led Capital One’s 1st cyber machine learning team to the successful build out of multiple targeted Machine Learning systems: phishing email triage, malware beacon classification, obfuscated Powershell detection, and cloud storage anomaly detection. As an embedded product owner, I engaged directly with engineers on a daily basis, drafted user stories, maintained product roadmaps, and shared incremental sprint work with end users via live demos (SOC analysts).
