• Installation, upgrade, and maintenance of refinery process connected data acquisition and control systems including associated networks and applications. • Responsible for engineering of microprocessor based control devices including Distributed Control System (DCS) networks and devices, Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), Man Machine Interfaces (MMI), and SCADA systems for refinery based operations including hydrocarbon processing, tank gauging, gasoline blending, and laboratory. • Other duties include project management and user support, including on-call and training. • Low Sulfur Gas Project Rollout of Experion PKS, Foundation Fieldbus devices (control-on-the-wire), and Honeywell TDC equipment . . . Conducted Project Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), and Site Acceptance Test (SAT) . . . Verification of I/O and control loops . . . Coordination, system startup, and user training. • Pipeline Data Transfer Responsible for engineering data transfer of Texas-El Paso Pipeline Company’s Siemens PLC to both Sunoco Logistics & Sunoco refinery. • Leak Detection Project Implement DCS configuration . . . Interface TDC Communication Link Module (CLM) with Siemens PLC for leak detection of the inter-refinery pipeline (IRPL) jet fuel stream. • Console Upgrade Project Project Manager responsible for planning, budgeting, vendor and end user interface, bill of materials, scheduling, expediting, and validation . . . Upgrade Engineering documentation including system drawings. Also, developed course material for the new user interface and delivered training to its end users.
