I serve as the Executive Director of Community Counseling Center of Southern Nevada (CCC). Community Counseling Center is a non-profit behavioral health and substance abuse treatment facility that has been proudly serving the people of Southern Nevada for over 30 years. Founded in 1990, CCC was originally created to help address the needs of those living with and affected by HIV/AIDS at a time when no other provider was willing to offer help due to fear and ignorance. Since that time, CCC has grown to become one of the largest and most diverse non-profit mental health services organizations in Nevada, serving over 3,500 clients per year and offering a wide range of services that now include: counseling for individuals, couples, families and groups, substance abuse and co-occurring disorders treatment, wellness programs, psychiatry, case management, outreach, health education, testing for HIV and HIV supportive services, services in Spanish, and LGBTQ+ affirmative services through "Affirmations: an LGBTQ+ Affirmative Counseling Program." In addition to all of our client related services, CCC is also a premier training site for practicum and post-graduate students. Community Counseling Center is a diverse and inclusive community organization that promotes the healthy functioning of individuals, families and communities through affordable, sensitive and professional behavioral health services in a safe environment.
