• Intensive Individual Support Service (IISS) Technician

  IISS is a one on one (1:1) goal-directed service that is designed to facilitate the child’s individual goals in his or her home and community setting. Goals are set based on ongoing assessment of skills regarding communication, play, daily living, recreation, and adaptive behavior. Instructors receive onsite training and ongoing supervision by a supervisor. • Intensive Individual Support Services (IISS)

  Intensive Individual Support Services consist of a trained paraprofessional interacting with and engaging an individual according to the child’s goal-directed Treatment Plan. The IISS technician can spend time with the child in the child’s home and/or community. The IISS technician can meet with the child in 30-minute increments, totaling up to 8 hours in one day. Individuals on the Autism Waiver are allotted a maximum of 25 hours per week of IISS.
