  Mr. Rider has more than 20 years’ experience helping companies successfully start up or relocate their foreign manufacturing and aerospace operations in Mexico. He has significant practical experience with major corporations including General Electric, Stanley Works, and Hamilton Beach/Proctor-Silex. Holding such positions as manufacturing engineering manager, production manager and director of operations, Mr. Rider focused on building new facilities and expanding existing operations in Mexico. With his experience in labor relations, regulatory compliance and manufacturing operations, he understands how to do business in Mexico. Mr. Rider has solid experience in assisting American and European companies in analyzing the opportunities, costs, and consequences of doing business in Mexico. He has directed the complete startup of manufacturing operations for U.S. companies along the U.S./Mexico border, as well as in the Interior of Mexico. These operations include manufacturing processes such as injection molding, metal stamping, die casting, electronics assembly, fractional horsepower motor manufacturing, aerospace production and general product assembly, both manual and automated. Mr. Rider is a featured speaker at symposiums and conferences on the subject of Manufacturing and Business startups in Mexico. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and is fluent in both English and Spanish. He has worked and lived in many areas within Mexico, including Queretaro, Saltillo, Mexico City and Zacatecas. Show less
