  I have a huge experience in clinical research from different settings in Uganda. This experience has been achieved in different capacities. In my current capacity, I am involved in several projects that aim to improve diagnosis in children and adults with particular interest in innovations that can apply in resource limited settings.

  One of my responsibilities is to prepare the laboratory for incoming or ongoing activities. This involves participation in the protocol development and its implementation. It also means ensuring that the laboratory activities conforms to international standards of practice. Our level 3 research laboratory is instrumental in decision making as it provides critical end points. Apparently, it is being prepared for accreditation as we aim at continuous improvement.
