      I worked as an assistant in the Douglass Phonetics Lab at the University of Arizona, assisting with the handling of phonetic data for work on a NSF grant funded research project. My work involved the use of Praat to label phoentic data in English, Japanese and Dutch according to research parameters so that specific data points could be identified and analyzed later by the lead researchers of the project. A student created program that provides underclassmen the opportunity to learn from peers who have experience living abroad in various regions of the world, with courses based on each region. I was one of two student instructors for the East Asia colloquium, where we discussed and taught History, Religion, Culture, Popular Culture, Politics and Ethnicity issues of the region. I was a Student Instructor for the International Studies Colloquium.
