Duties included: serving as Public Information Officer; managing the recruitment and expansion of the company’s contracts, serving over 50 municipalities, covering 4 hospitals, over 20 nursing facilities, 100 industrial locations, 12 school districts and more than 60 volunteer and career fire departments; coordinating dispatching between county 9-1-1 center and private third party dispatch facility; and administering marketing efforts (increased corporate clients from 8 to over 200). In addition, he contracted the long-term purchase of 20 ambulances and the former Horton INDY-CART Hospital (tractor trailer mobile emergency room), which received national attention for its start as the Emergency Medical Operations Center, and was founding member of its water rescue program.
