  I work as a Hydroponic Farmer at the South Carolina State Farmers Market. I am responsible for the seeding, germinating, growing, harvesting, and packaging of several different varieties of lettuce. We have to maintain a completely sanitized workplace by meeting many sterilization and safety guidelines. So I have some training in basic chemical safety.   I was promoted from Office Assistant to a photographer position after 3 months of assisting the Program Director with weekly office duties. I traveled to schools in and around Raleigh, NC doing photography. I went to 15 counties to deliver and explaine the materials necessary for schools to participate in the program. A week after dropping off the materials I return to the schools to acquire and ensure accurate photographs, heights, weights, and fingerprints were taken. I always met company standards in addition to recording and transferring the files to the corporate office safely and securely. This job is extremely time-critical and detail-oriented. I must manage my time diligently in order to get all the necessary tasks completed. I must be extremely accurate with my work due to the fact that this is a child safety company, so I am great at paying attention to detail. I enjoy this job because it challenges me to find new ways to improve my photography and customer service skills as well as increase my organization and time management skills. Show less
