The Service Engineer is a member of our “Less Complex (LX)” team. This main purpose of this recently formed group is to optimize and simplify our business processes for Sales and project execution, aiming for a more efficient and competitive approach. “Less Complex (LX)” projects refer to a typical service and rehabilitation project that involves only one product offering, such as turbine, generator, gates or parts & services and operations and maintenance. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES • Acts as the primary point of contact within the LX Sales and Project execution team for technical support and assistance related to products and site work; • Participates in the development of the winning strategy for service offerings, particularly with regard to the definition, validation, estimation, identification of technical risks and planning associated with on-site work; • Technically supports Parts and Services as well as Maintenance and Operations team members as needed; • Collaborates with other functions or internal departments (Installation, Engineering, Procurement, Quality, Health and Safety) to offer appropriate and innovative technical solutions; • Ensures adequate contact and support with the operational levels of our clients; • Upon customer request, plans and performs site visits for assistance and technical support.
