PhD thesis under the supervision of Dr. Wanda Kukulski at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology on the architecture and function on cortical ER - plasma membrane contact sites. The project combined yeast genetics, high-throughput screening and fluorescent live cell imaging with state of the art correlative light and electron microscopy workflow on resin embedded yeast cells as well as cryo- electron tomography to study membrane contact sites in a complementary way.
