  Owned by Tasti Products Ltd, Auckland since May 2011 Kaweka Foods was purchased to add diversity to their production platform. Although Finance, Marketing and Product Development was integrally linked through Tasti Products the geographical isolation from head office made for quite a degree of autonomy often requiring various degrees of crisis management and remaining pragmatic when required. With the IP of product heavily based in the Hastings site head office sought to sell the business to like-minded food producers but failed to find a buyer before a self imposed deadline. The business is now closed and my involvement ends at the end of May 2018.
