  I have worked in the youth and community sectors since 1987 and has held various senior management roles. I founded IYS in 2002 when I saw the need for a service that provided high quality support to children and young people in the Out-of- Home-Care sector. I am also the Chairperson and CEO of Impact Care Solutions, a NFP agency that provides direct assistance to young people as well as training of staff in the youth sector. In 2015, the American Association of Children Residential Centers named me its first International Advisor, allowing for free and constructive exchange between international agencies.
